New signing: Ed Carvalho-Monaghan

We're super excited to have signed up recent graduate Edward Carvalho-Monaghan. His bold and colourful artworks, eye-popping website and narrative illustration projects really stood out from the work of this year's crop of fresh graduates - which is, no doubt, why it has already been championed by the likes of graphic art and design blog It's Nice That and also triannually published illustration-focused magazine, WRAP.

While Ed readily cites psychedelic music and the work of Chilean-French avant-garde filmmaker and comics writer Alejandro Jodorowsky as strong influences, we're pretty sure that it's his desire to create work that doesn't draw on obvious visual references or pander to stylistic trends that makes him such an exciting prospect.
